Ok, so it's been a couple of days since I sent out pics and an updated on what's going on. Here's the latest. Hayden had her first Dr. appointment yesterday. She had jaundice leaving the hospital on Saturday and her levels were rising as of Sunday night. But good news...the Dr. says that her levels are dropping and that once they drop they don't rise again. On the lighter side of things, Stephanie had a phone call from her sister, Sara, from Ohio. Sara mentioned that she hadn't talk to us in awhile and was dying to know what's going on. Stephanie's response was "Wait, what day is this?" I think the sleep deprivation is starting to hit her. It does get easier, right? Till next time.

Oh What A Night...
Last night was the first night home for our new family. Let me tell you...what an adjustment. Steph and I put Hayden in the crib with the monitors on. I jumped up everytime I couldn't hear her breathe. Steph says if I'm this way now, what will I be like when she's driving? Hayden woke up twice. She slept 4 hours in between wake ups. We were up at 5:30. It'll get better. Here's more photos....again.

Now Introducing...
Today the world welcomed the newest addition to our family. Hayden Renae was born at 10:44am. She came into the world weighing 6 lbs 15 oz. and 19 inches long. Mom and baby are doing well. People say she has my nose. We'll have to wait and see. Pictures are coming as soon as I can download them. Stephanie said she picked a heck of a day to come. There were severe thunderstorms in the area not to mention the few funnel clouds spotted in the city to the west of us and in the town in which we live. I think I may have driven through them to get home to take a nap and rest a little while mom and baby did the same at the hospital. All are safe though.

And so it begins...
Well parenthood is just around the corner. Stephanie had a doctor visit today and the doctor decided that since the amniotic fluid was low it would be best to induce her. She'll be induced Thursday morning at 4 AM. Needless to say, Steph and I are both filled with a ton of emotions. Happiness, nervousness as to what to expect, anxious for it to all be over. Those of you that we know who have kids never told us that the 9 months would go this fast. Steph wanted me to go home and get a good night sleep (the last one for 18 years). So, I'll be back at the hospital at 3:45 to be by her side. When I get pics I'll get them on here asap. Until then....

First Entry
Hello All !
This is our first time doing this so please be patient. As most of you know, Stephanie is 8 plus months pregnant and is ready to be done with it. September 9th, her due date, can't come fast enough. As of today, she is having pelvic pressure and the doctor has told her that she is dilated to 3 cm and 75% effaced. Let's hope that the next appointment (tomorrow) will bring more exciting news. We are both anxiously awaiting the addition to the family. If this works we'll keep you up to date on what is going on with the baby. And will have pics for you (again, if I can overcome my technical disabilities). Take care and please fill us in on what is new with all of you.
